Xi Tran has always been competitive. Throughout his educational career, he always joined clubs and sports that fostered this competitive spirit. Among others, these groups included football, baseball, soccer, wrestling, chess, math competitions, and academic quiz teams.When going to college, he picked a major and a university that would challenge him most. After graduating from MIT with a degree in electrical engineering, he moved to the city that was growing the fastest so he could start his climb to the top of the social ladder. This was at the time when Apogee was the fastest growing city in the world, showing off new technological wonders and capturing the attention of the world.
Xi was born and raised in Beijing, China. He was the first-born son of Zhi Ruo and Bojing Tran. He was not particularly close with his mother, but Xi was strongly influenced by his father as a kid. His father was a nuclear engineer in their town, and was considered invaluable as an employee. Xi and Bojing would often go to movies and dinner together, and Bojing helped Xi practice whatever sport he was playing that semester.
